B Haplogroup

B Haplogroup is localized to sub-Saharan Africa, especially to tropical forests of West-Central Africa. After A Haplogroup, it is the second oldest and one of the most diverse human Haplogroups. It was the ancestral Haplogroup of modern Pygmies like the Baka and Mbuti, but also Hadzabe from Tanzania, who are often mistakenly considered as a remnant of Khoisan people in East Africa.

Members of this Haplogroup have survived every war, calamity and catastrophe known to man. Thus, by Darwin's survival-of-the-fittest postulate, B y-chromosomes are the most refined, best adapted, fittest and strongest of all y-chromosomes.

Further, it is likely the members of Haplogroup B played a leading role in the development of civilization as well as tales of creation mythology.

This Haplogroup remains poorly understood and little-studied despite its royal and ancient lineage.

Haplogroup B has 18 subclades under it. This includes; B, B1, B1a, B2, B2a, B2a1, B2a1a, B2a2, B2a2a, B2b, B2b1, B2b2, B2b3, B2b4, B2b4a, B2b4b, B2c
