CF Haplogroup

 

 

CF Haplogroup is a human male Y-DNA Haplogroup whose defining mutation is P143. Along with & parallel to Haplogroup DE, it is a descendant of Haplogroup CT. As its compound name implies, it is the ancestral Haplogroup to both Haplogroup C and Haplogroup F.

Haplogroup CF is defined by the mutation P143. The time of origin was between 55,000 to 60,000 year ago. The origin is in Asia.

Haplogroup C is not African and has not been found on the continent.
