Haplogroup C and Z is
a descendant of
Haplogroup M. This Haplogroup starts as
a pair; CZ. It splits into to subgroups, C and Z. Haplogroup CZ is most
commonly found in Siberia. It is also found on East Asia.
Haplogroup
C
is dated back about 60,000 years ago and started in Central Asia. There are 5
different Haplogroups found in the indigenous people of North and South America,
this haplogroup is one of those which also include
A,
B,
D and
X.
Haplogroup
Z also started in Central Asia. People with this haplogroup today are mostly
found in Russia and Northern Scandinavia. It has also been distributed in Korea
and Northern China.
