Haplogroup E is a descendant of Haplogroup M (M9). This Haplogroup originated in Northeast Sundaland, Suluwesi and Sulu seas.

This Haplogroup has been distributed in the Philippines, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Malay Peninsula and Pacific Islands like Guam. 

 

 

 

 

Haplogroup E is linked to a very small percentage of population today. Finding your link to this Haplogroup will shed a lot of light on your heritage and past.

In the Americas, there are a handful of people linked to this DNA and has little to no frequencies in Europe and current Africa.
