Haplogroup G is
a descendant of
Haplogroup M (M12'G). This Haplogroup
originated in East Asia.
This Haplogroup is separated by two
groups, Koryaks and Itelmen (people indigenous to Far East Russia).
Haplogroup G
is most frequent in Siberia and can be found around Asia. This Haplogroup did
not make it to the Americas as did many people that migrated in the area.
If you are in this Haplogroup you will
learn a lot about your migration path and possibly even physical features. Your
ancestry took different turns then the other mtDNA Haplogroups.
