Haplogroup V

 

 

Haplogroup V is believed to have arisen about 12,000 years ago near Spain and Portugal. This haplogroup is a descendant of HV. This Haplogroup is not very common but found the most frequent in the Sami people from Northern Scandinavia. Benjamin Franklin fits in this Haplogroup.
