K Haplogroup

 

 

K Haplogroup is a branch of the haplogroup IJK and spread many descendants including haplogroups L, M, NOP, S and T. Haplogroup K originated in Southwest Asia.

 

 

Haplogroup K also includes K1, K2, K3 and K4 which are found in low frequency in Australia, Oceania, Malay Archipelago and South Asia.

The "K" origin began about 40,000 years ago and now contains major groups L to T and 2 minor groups K* and K1 to K4.
