S Haplogroup

S Haplogroup is believed to have arisen about 8,100 years ago in Southeast Asia. This haplogroup is a descendant of NOP. This Haplogroup is found quite frequently on New Papua Guinea at a level of about 50%. This Haplogroup mutation most likely happened after the last Ice Age.
